Yayoi Kusama is the one who inspired me a lot when I was doing some digital designing works. I am interested in her colorful dots. Besides the dot art, Yayoi Kusama’s Infinity Mirror Room is also my favourite. I’ve been to the show once and I really like the romantic feeling of the infinity galaxy. By using mirrors, she extended a limited room to infinity.
For this project, what I did was rebuilding and reversing Yayoi Kusama’s Infinity Mirror Room. I would like to broke her mirror and bring the work to another dimension. Since the original one is romantic and peaceful, I wanted mine to be nerve-racking and terrifying.
